My Therapies

Before we begin any treatments, I like to have a full consultation with you, either over the phone, via email, or through text. It's just a way for us to connect and for me to get a better understanding of what you're looking for. Some people prefer to come and see me in person for a more in-depth consultation, which usually takes around 10-15 minutes. During this time, we'll go over your medical history, discuss any contraindications, and explore what's brought you to holistic therapy in the first place. It's all about creating a personalised approach that works best for you.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is a wonderful way to relax, unwind, and let go of the stresses of daily life. Swedish Body Massage is a whole-body therapeutic massage that works the soft tissues and muscles, creating a calming and balancing effect on the nervous system. The techniques used are designed to help improve your circulation, soothe your muscles, relieve tension, and make you feel more relaxed. I offer a range of massage options, each tailored to your specific needs.

Please note that this is not a deep tissue sports massage.

Full Body, Face, and Scalp Massage

This luxurious 75-minute treatment is the ultimate in relaxation. Starting with a full body massage using aromatic oils, I'll work out any tension or knots, leaving your muscles feeling soft and supple.

I'll then move on to the face and scalp, focusing on pressure points and using gentle techniques to promote a sense of deep relaxation. This massage is perfect for anyone who wants to treat themselves to a bit of head-to-toe pampering.

Express Back, Neck, and Shoulders Massage

The Indian Head massage is a 45-minute treatment that focuses on the head, neck, shoulders, and upper back. Reflexology Grantham

Reflexology is based on the belief that there are reflex points on the feet that correspond to every organ, gland, and part of the body. By applying gentle pressure to these points, reflexology helps to stimulate the body's natural healing processes, promoting balance and relaxation.

During a 60-minute Foot Reflexology session, I'll work on your feet, focusing on any areas of concern. Reflexology can be incredibly helpful for a wide range of issues, from stress and anxiety to digestive problems and headaches. It's also a fantastic way to give your body a boost and restore a sense of overall well-being.

Deluxe Facial

My Deluxe Facial is the perfect indulgence for you and your skin.

During this 1-hour treatment, I'll cleanse, steam, exfoliate, and massage your skin, as well as apply a nourishing mask. The facial massage and pressure point techniques help to stimulate lymphatic drainage, promoting a clear, glowing complexion.

This is a wonderful treatment for anyone looking to pamper their skin and enjoy a relaxing, rejuvenating experience.

Lava Shells

Lava Shells massage is a truly unique and luxurious treatment. Using traditional porcelain Clam shells that are self-heating and then glided over the body, this 60-minute full body massage provides a deep, penetrating warmth that melts away tension and soothes aching muscles.

The heat from the shells helps to increase circulation, promoting a sense of relaxation and well-being. It's a wonderful way to unwind, de-stress, and give your body a real treat.

What to expect after your treatment

After you’ve had a holistic treatment, you are likely to feel a real sense of wellbeing & true relaxation.


However, sometimes especially if it’s your very first treatment you may also experience a healing response, these can include some of the following.

• Feeling very tired

• Feeling a little bit nauseous 

• Heightened emotions, like tearful 

• Increased urination or bowel movements 

• Feeling more thirsty 

• Headaches


These common & perfectly nature responses will only be temporary, mostly likely 24/48 hours, after that you will then start to feel a more general sense of wellbeing.

Aftercare Advice for Clients

Hydration

Please drink plenty of water after your session to help flush out toxins released during the massage.


Rest

Do take it easy for the rest of the day, allowing your body to relax and recover.


Gentle Movements 

 Light stretching or gentle movements to keep muscles relaxed and prevent stiffness


Heat or Cold Therapy

You can consider using a heating pad or ice pack on sore areas, depending on your preference and the nature of the muscle tension, neck, lower back etc.


Avoid Strenuous Activity

I advise against heavy exercise or strenuous activities for at least 24 hours post-massage to allow muscles to recover.

Listen to Your Body

Pay close attention to how your body feels and to avoid any activities that causes discomfort

Follow-Up

Schedule regular sessions to maintain the benefits, especially if you are dealing with chronic issues 


Self-Care Practices

Self-care techniques such as stretching, yoga, or mindfulness practices into your daily routine.


Monitor Symptoms

Do be aware of any unusual pain or discomfort that persists beyond 24-48 hours and to seek medical advice if needed
